This is the most systematic nationwide survey of the Russian legal services market. The rating methodology applied was developed by the Pravo.Ru analytics under support of the leading Russian and foreign legal companies. Company Ernst&Young was the official auditor of the rating. Informational support was provided by newspaper Vedomosti.
Over 250 profiles of the legal companies, rendering their legal services on the Russian territory, have been analyzed within the rating preparation works. The information provided was checked through all the available sources (Rosstat materials, SPARK base, publications in the mass media) and, if necessary, through the corresponding supporting documents provided by the participating companies on request. Besides, the Pravo.Ru representatives applied not only to the legal companies themselves, but also, selectively, to their clients to find out their own assessment of the rendered services quality and of the whole satisfaction level with certain legal firm cooperation. On receiving and analyzing the materials gathered, the experts specified the assessment details relating to the definite projects of the companies.
All the ratings included in Pravo.Ru-300 are divided into 2 categories:
1) Ratings based on financial and statistic values (reflecting the size and business quality of a legal company); Advocates bureau Yug took the 19th position of the rating Regional Legal Companies Top-50. This is the highest position among other legal companies in the SFD of the Russian Federation;
2) Ratings by the practices (reflecting size and quality of a definite practice of a legal company). The rated companies are listed in the alphabetic order. Advocates bureau Yug is the one and only law company in the SFD that has been included in "Rating of the Best Legal Companies" in a practice field in the "Arbitration practice".
Pravo.Ru commented: For the current year the companies realized a number of really significant and valuable projects in the arbitration practice. This practice seems to be the only one that complicated rating work of the Pravo.Ru in defining its best candidate.
